When it rains it pours for the Knicks.  Following a crushing 113-104 loss to the Utah Jazz on Monday, the Knicks will be without a trio of crucial players on Tuesday against the Denver Nuggets, including Mitchell Robinson and Nerlens Noel.

The Knicks released their injury report for Tuesday’s game and Robinson will be out with a sore back while Noel and Quentin Grimes will miss the matchup with Denver due to sore knees.

Robinson’s loss is a blow to the Knicks after the 23-year-old had one of his best games this season, posting 19 points and 21 rebounds on Monday. Noel’s injury troubles this season continue as he’ll miss his 30th game.

Without Robinson and Noel, the Knicks will have to lean on 36-year-old Taj Gibson and rookie Jericho Sims.

Grimes has emerged as one of the Knicks’ most productive bench scorers in the last few games. However, his sore knee will force the rookie to miss his second straight game after not playing on Monday.

Tuesday's game is the third of the Knicks’ current five-game road trip with New York traveling to San Francisco to take on the Warriors on Thursday and to Portland to face the Trail Blazers on Saturday.
