The Knicks suffered their third straight loss -- they have dropped nine of 11 games dating back to Jan. 17 -- in a 113-104 defeat at the Utah Jazz.

Five things to know

1. Without Quentin Grimes (left knee soreness) and Kemba Walker (rest), the Knicks rolled out a starting five that had Alec Burks at point guard. The rest of New York's lineup -- Evan Fournier, RJ Barrett, Julius Randle and Mitchell Robinson -- stayed the same.

2. Facing a Rudy Gobert-less Jazz, Robinson dominated in the paint and gave the Knicks a needed authority on the floor. Robinson collected 19 points on an 8-of-11 mark from the field while tying a single-game career-high with 21 rebounds in 36 minutes for a monster double-double. He rounded out his performance on the defensive side with a strong effort there, too, with three blocks.

3. Randle built off a 32-point performance from this past Saturday's 122-115 overtime loss at the Los Angeles Lakers by scoring 30 on 10-of-20 shooting in 38 minutes. He recorded his 10th 30-point game of the season and scored 30 in consecutive games for the first time all year.

4. Cam Reddish cracked Tom Thibodeau's rotation Monday with his most extensive action yet as a member of the Knicks. He logged 15 minutes off the bench, scoring six points on a 1-for-4 mark from the floor.

5. Following Donovan Mitchell's team-high 32, the Jazz fed off a collective effort. Bojan Bogdanovic (20), Mike Conley (18), and Jordan Clarkson (16) pitched in a combined 54 points. Mitchell put the exclamation mark on the game with 40.5 seconds left, stealing an errant RJ Barrett pass and throwing down a windmill dunk to put the Jazz up by double digits, 109-98.
