As the Knicks continue their four-game road trip on the West Coast, they do so without Dennis Smith Jr.

The point guard is out for Wednesday's 10:30 p.m. ET game against the Golden State Warriors due to illness.

The 22-year-old Smith is averaging 5.4 points, 1.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 17.2 minutes through 17 games.

The Knicks are set to start point guard Frank Ntilikina, shooting guard RJ Barrett, small forward Marcus Morris, power forward Julius Randle and center Taj Gibson.

Smith had five points and four rebounds in Tuesday's 115-87 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers.

Against the Warriors (5-20), the Knicks (4-20) have an equal matchup before the week continues with the Sacramento Kings (10-13) Friday and Denver Nuggets (14-8) Sunday.
