According to SNY's Ian Begley, there is a possibility of the Knicks entering buyout conversations with veteran Wayne Ellington if he isn't moved by the trade deadline, per SNY sources.

This comes after the Knicks sent forward Marcus Morris to the Los Angeles Clippers before Thursday's 3 p.m. deadline.

Ellington, 32, has played just 24 games with the Knicks this season after signing a two-year, $16 million deal with the team over the summer.

He is averaging 4.0 points per game while shooting 31.7 percent from three this season.

The North Carolina product is a career 37.7 percent shooter from behind the arc, making it more likely that a playoff team could go after him if he reaches a buyout with the Knicks.
