Kevin O'Connor, The Ringer

19th pick: G Sharife Cooper, Auburn

Cooper has veteran-savvy playmaking qualities, but his entire game could blossom if he’s able to improve as a shooter. The Knicks can find a 3-point threat with their next pick, but if they keep both firsts, they should draft for upside here.

21st pick: F Trey Murphy, Virginia

Murphy’s shooting would immediately help the Knicks’ stagnant offense, but that assumes he’s still on the board. Executives had tied him to the late lottery following his rise at the NBA draft combine. Though he may lack the potential of some other players still on the board, he has one of the highest floors in the draft.

Sam Vecenie, The Athletic

19th pick: F/C Usman Garuba, Real Madrid

Defense, defense, defense. Garuba is already one of the best defenders in Europe as a teenager and profiles as a potential All-Defense Team guy in the NBA by the time he’s 25.

21st pick: G Jaden Springer, Tennessee

[Springer] averaged 16 points, four rebounds and three assists in his final 11 games, finally getting a chance to show off why he was a five-star prospect. He’s also a terrific defender. Having said that, I’ve found that Springer’s game isn’t loved by many scouts.

CBS Sports

19th pick: G Jaden Springer, Tennessee

The Knicks might deem it necessary to upgrade at the guard spot this offseason and if they do, they'd get a good one in Jaden Springer. A true combo guard out of Tennessee, he hit 43.5% of his 3-pointers last season and has a knack for scoring the bucket to go with his bulldog defensive mindset.

21st pick: C Alperen Sengun, Turkey

Sengun is a traditional big more than a modern big. Great in the low post, can catch at the elbow, score, play-make, pass. Incredible rebounding instincts. Statistically, Sengun was incredible as an 18-year-old in Turkey, and was the Turkish League MVP as an 18-year-old.

19th pick: G Miles McBride, West Virginia

McBride is a scrappy lead guard with excellent scoring ability and underrated athleticism … Tremendous defender, especially on the ball, where he utilizes his huge (6’9) wingspan and lateral speed to make things difficult for opposing lead guards.

21st pick: PF/C Isaiah Jackson, Kentucky

Extremely athletic, agile big man that can impact the game without scoring and has a lot of physical gifts … An active big who makes plays all over the court defensively, having averaged 2.6 blocks and .8 steals per game as a freshman.

Krysten Peek, Yahoo Sports

19th pick: G Trey Murphy, Virginia

Murphy is climbing up draft boards after strong workouts with a handful of teams, including the Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs. He’s a long wing who shot the ball consistently from 3-point range, 43% last season. Murphy already has loft goals for his NBA career and a good sense of what his rookie year will look like.
