The NBA Draft is done. Now, the Knicks turn their attention to free agency.

Here’s a look ahead to free agency and how draft night may have impacted it…

LEAD GUARD

The market for point guards revolves around Kyle Lowry. And it will be a position of need for the Knicks. Nothing changed on that front after Thursday’s draft.

There remains support within the organization to pursue Spencer Dinwiddie at lead guard, per sources. Dinwiddie will certainly have other suitors. But the Knicks have the cap space (nearly $50 million) to exceed most offers and the prospect of remaining in New York appeals to the ex-Net, sources say.

Other options for the Knicks include DeVonte Graham, Kendrick Nunn, Lowry, and Chris Paul, though several teams expect Paul to re-sign with Phoenix.

SHOT CREATION?

The Knicks went into Thursday night knowing they needed to add a shot creator. That need wasn’t filled in the draft. So DeMar DeRozan is still on New York’s radar heading into free agency. There has been some interest in Collin Sexton as well. It’s unclear where that lies at the moment.

SHOOTING?

Like all teams in the NBA, the Knicks would like to add shooting this offseason. Terrence Ross is an option. Teams have discussed potential Ross trades with Orlando in recent days. Another player to keep an eye on? Evan Fournier. There has been mutual interest between Fournier and the Knicks, per SNY sources. Fournier had significant support in the organization prior to Thursday’s draft. It doesn’t seem like anything that happened on draft night would change that. The Philadelphia Inquirer first reported that Fournier was a target for New York.
