The first couple times Kevin Knox drove in New York, he got a ticket because he didn't know where to park.

It was just one of many adjustments the Knicks rookie forward has had to make while living in New York.

The 19-year-old dished on his new life in the city and with the Knicks in an upcoming Showtime documentary this Sunday, which was teased with a preview by The Players' Tribune on Monday.

Knox, who grew up in Tampa, Fla., is seen eating a slice of pizza at Grimaldi's in Brooklyn and taking the subway for the first time."

"Not so bad, just a simple train ride," Knox said as he stepped off the subway.

Much better than his experience of driving in Manhattan.

"I actually got my first couple of tickets because I didn't know nothing about the New York parking," he said. "So I got a ticket my first two times I came out in the city because I didn't know where to park."

While checking out shoes at Flight Cub -- Knox is a size 18 -- he talks about his expectations for the season.

"Man, I'm trying to make the playoffs," Knox said. "You gotta have high standards. Can't just say we're gonna lose every game. ... You gotta say it out loud."

The Knicks are off to a 1-2 start and Knox left Saturday's game against the Celtics with a sprained left ankle, which is expected to keep him out for at least two weeks.
