Kenny Wooten was one of the real positive surprises for the Knicks during their Summer League schedule.

As a result, the 6-foot-9 center has agreed to terms on an Exhibit 10 contract with the Knicks, according to Marc Berman of the New York Post.

With his Exhibit 10 deal, Wooten will receive an invite to Knicks training camp. The deal is non-guaranteed and does not count towards the Knicks salary cap, and if Wooten is waived, he can earn up to $50,000 if he spends at least 60 days with the Knicks G-League affiliate in Westchester.

Boston's Tacko Fall recently signed a similar deal, which gives an incentive to players for staying in the G-League rather than looking for other opportunities overseas.

Wooten went undrafted out of Oregon before committing to the Knicks Summer League squad. With the team he put on an impressive performance on the defensive side, blocking 10 shots in four games.

With Oregon, Wooten averaged 2.4 blocks per game in two seasons. Rather than returning for a third season, Wooten chose to stay in the NBA Draft. Though he went undrafted, Wooten has another chance to prove himself as a potential depth player behind Mitchell Robinson.
