Who is starting for the Yankees?

While Chad Green (4-4, 4.57 ERA) will get the ball as the opener, the real storyline is the return of LHP Jordan Montgomery, who has spent over a year recovering from Tommy John surgery. The 26-year-old is expected to come into the game following Green and has not pitched since May 1, 2018. Montgomery made 29 starts in 2017, going 9-7 with a 3.88 ERA and striking out 144 batters over 155.1 innings. He finished sixth in Rookie of the Yea voting that season, but made just six starts in 2018 before suffering his injury.

Who is starting for the Blue Jays?

RHP T.J. Zeuch, who will be making just his second big league start after debuting earlier this month when rosters expanded. His only other start came on Tuesday against the Red Sox, when he pitched 4.1 innings and allowed three runs on six hits. Zeuch is ranked as the Blue Jays' 16th-best prospect, according to MLBPipeline.com

Upcoming schedule

Following a road trip which spanned 11 games and 10 days, the Yankees will get a much-needed off day before returning to Yankee Stadium to face the Angels on Tuesday at 6:35 p.m.
