Giants head coach Joe Judge is getting his roster of coaches together on his staff, but at least one will be an in-house hire.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Giants will retain wide receivers coach Tyke Tolbert under Judge.

Former Giants coach Pat Shurmur brought Tolbert to the Giants in 2018 when he was first hired by the team.

Tolbert, 52, is a 17-year NFL coaching vet and held the same role previously with the Cardinals, Bills, Panthers and Broncos. He won Super Bowl 50 with Denver.

The report cites Tolbert's work, specifically, with Darius Slayton in 2019. The rookie led the Giants with 740 receiving yards in his impressive first season on 48 catches. While a strong year, the absence of numerous teammates throughout the year, such as Sterling Shepard and Golden Tate, allowed Slayton an opportunity, one he capitalized on. Slayton also led the Giants with eight receiving scores.

Tolbert later confirmed the news on his social media account via Twitter:
