With the short week, Jets S Jamal Adams had a slim chance to play against the Ravens on Thursday Night Football, as he continues to rehab his ankle injury.

The injury report on Wednesday confirmed that.

Adams highlighted the report as a doubtful player with the Jets heading to Baltimore. He didn't participate in practice all week, and though he may not be completely ruled out, it's safe to say it's a longshot for the Pro Bowl safety to be on the M&T Bank Stadium turf in his pads.

The 24-year-old missed the first game of his career on Sunday when the Jets took down the Dolphins, 22-21. Adams suffered the injury during the Bengals game on the first drive, he said. With the Ravens being one of the toughest teams in the NFL at the moment, having Adams available would have helped the Jets tremendously, but they'll have to contain Lamar Jackson without him.

Other than Adams, OL Chuma Edoga, TE Ryan Griffin, CB Brian Poole and RB Bilal Powell have been ruled out. Griffin suffered an ankle injury on the Jets' first drive, and Poole has been dealing with a concussion. Edoga is still dealing with a knee injury, but Powell has the flu to go along with an ankle ailment.

Also listed as doubtful is CB Arthur Maulet, WR Demaryius Thomas, and DT Quinnen Williams. Williams suffered a burner on Sunday, and was taken out. The short week also isn't helping him recover from that.

One bright side of the injury report is seeing RB Le'Veon Bell not in any of those categories. He's recovered from the flu and will look to make a large impact on offense in his return.
