Jets RB Le'Veon Bell went on Twitter Wednesday morning to rant about the NFL already issuing five random drug tests in the first 10 weeks of the season. And he made sure to add that he won't be taking another test moving forward.
Well, he doubled down on that statement after practice.
"I don't know. I'm not going to say all that," Bell said when asked if he feels targeted. "I'm just saying I'm not doing it no more. They're not getting no more of my blood. They better use the blood they got right now."
Bell, who has had marijuana violations in the past, added that he got a text from an NFLPA rep after his tweets blew up. His anger mostly stems from the fact that he doesn't like needles, something he repeated throughout his interview.
But he also isn't sure just how random the tests are.

"Is it random, though?" he questioned the group of reporters. "Why do I feel like every time they here doing the HGH testing I get picked?"
Bell was made aware of the NFL statute that he could be suspended if he refuses or misses drug tests in the future.
"If we gotta cross that bridge when we get there, I'll cross it," he said.
Back in 2016 with the Steelers, Bell faced a four-game suspension for missing a drug test in June of that year. He was eventually found guilty of violating the league's substance abuse policy for marijuana, but saw his suspension reduced to three games. He was also arrested in 2015 for possession of marijuana, where he was also suspended.
Having turned a new leaf after spending a year out of the league, Bell believes he should be done with testing. Nothing has come back positive, and simply put, he just doesn't want to see anymore needles.
"I done did it too much," Bell said. "How much blood do they need?"
