The Jets are expected to be active in advance of Tuesday's 4 p.m. NFL trade deadline, and one of their huge names could be on the move.

According to SNY's Ralph Vacchiano, Le'Veon Bell is drawing interest, but the Jets are not shopping him. They are listening to offers, just like they'd listen to offers on almost anyone, but they're not expecting to trade him.

Several teams have called GM Joe Douglas, according to a source, to see if he'd be willing to part with his $52.5 million running back. Douglas hasn't hung up the phone on them, the source said, but he'd apparently have to be blown away to make a deal. The Kansas City Chiefs are the strongest suitors, the source said.

One scout told Vacchiano "I think they'd have a line at their door if they made him available."

Vacchiano added that a trade of Bell could make sense if Douglas shares the same view Adam Gase expressed back in March, when he intimated that he was happy the team signed Bell but was not happy with the amount of money that it took to get him.

Bell, 27, signed a four-year, $52.5 million deal with the Jets in the offseason after sitting out the 2018 season while on the Steelers.

Bell has a cap hit of $15.5 million in 2020, $13.5 million in 2021, and $15 million in 2022, before being eligible for unrestricted free agency.

So far this season, Bell has rushed 109 times for 349 yards and one touchdown. He has also hauled in 32 catches for 187 yards and one touchdown.
