Jets safety Jamal Adams and cornerback Buster Skrine were among the players who defended head coach Todd Bowles after Sunday's 41-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills.

"T-Bowles is not the problem," Adams told reporters. "I'm gonna ride with T-Bowles until the end. It doesn't matter. I don't care what the fans say. It's T-Bowles. I'm gonna support my coach."

Sunday's loss, an embarrassment in which the Jets were outgained 451-199, committed two turnovers and trailed 31-3 at halftime, was New York's fourth straight loss and dropped the Jets to 3-7 heading into their bye week.

Owner Christopher Johnson declined to comment on Bowles' job status after the game, however Adams and Skrine were two of the more vocal players who expressed their support for the fourth-year head coach.

"We've got to execute our job," Adams said. "We're on the field. Coach isn't on the field. We've got to execute our job. It's simple, really."

Added Skrine: "I think he's a great coach, great coach. Works hard. Smart coach, too. ... He can't play in the game for the players and he can't coach every position..."

Bowles, who has been under fire all week, said "it was a disappointing loss" and that "everybody played bad. Everybody coached bad."

Asked if he was worried about losing his job, Bowles responded, "I don't worry about my job. I don't talk about my job. ... that's the business when you sign up for it."
