Jets cornerback Buster Skrine suffered a concussion in Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos, head coach Todd Bowles said.

Skrine walked off the field with trainers following a play in the first quarter and did not return to the game.

The 29-year-old Skrine recorded three total tackles and one pass defensed prior to leaving the game. He was playing in place of the injured Trumaine Johnson, who was inactive with a quadriceps injury.

In five games this season, Skrine has totaled 19 total tackles, one forced fumble and three passes defensed.
