Whether you love him or hate him, you have to admit that former Net Jared Dudley has never been afraid to speak his mind.

But Knicks fans won't like what he just said.

This offseason the Knicks failed to sign the duo of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. Instead, the two All-Stars found their way to Brooklyn to play for the Nets.

So, while talking about now-former Nets head coach Kenny Atkinson being forced out of his job, Dudley decided to take a shot at the Knicks as well.

"And let's be honest, if the Knicks are run right, the Knicks get them easily. It's not even close," he told The Athletic's Michael Lee. "If the Knicks are run halfway decent, they get KD and Kyrie."

Dudley, who signed a veteran minimum deal to play for the Lakers this season, is taking a clear jab at James Dolan and Co., and he wouldn't be the first. When Durant and Irving both decided to go to Brooklyn, some pointed at Dolan's ownership as a reason why they wanted to go to the Knicks' crosstown rival.

New York certainly had the cap space with the two max slots open, but no high-profile player wanted to fill them. Paul George and Kawhi Leonard landed with the Clippers among others choosing different locations other than New York.

Will that change moving forward? With new president Leon Rose in charge, it could.
