As the Knicks look to make moves in advance of the Feb. 6 NBA trade deadline, it appears that their only untouchables might be rookie RJ Barrett and second-year sensation Mitchell Robinson.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski has reported that it's "certainly plausible" the Clippers could look to deal for Marcus Morris, and it was reported late Monday that the Knicks could also make Julius Randle available.

Specifically, an NBA source told Newsday's Steve Popper that it is "believed" New York would be open to trading Randle.

After the Knicks swung and missed on their top targets this past offseason, Randle was the only free agent they signed whose contract was guaranteed for as many as two seasons.

Morris, Bobby Portis, Taj Gibson, Wayne Ellington, Elfrid Payton, and Reggie Bullock all have deals that are only guaranteed for the 2019-20 season.

Randle is making $18 million this season and will make $18.9 million next season. His salary for the 2021-22 season is partially guaranteed (worth $4 million) and would become fully guaranteed (for $19.8 million) on June 28, 2021.

Before signing with the Knicks, Randle was also pursued by the Bulls and Nets.

Randle, 25, is averaging 17.4 points and 8.7 rebounds in 27 games this season while playing 32.1 minutes per game.
