Jets GM Joe Douglas took a shot in the third round by taking Florida DE/DL Jabari Zuniga.
The stat sheet doesn't jump off the page, but Zuniga has shown flashes of dominance on the defensive line. However, when he returned for his senior season to raise his draft stock, an ankle injury shut down the season after six games.
So, with much to learn about Zuniga and what he offers the Jets, here's his grade...

If the Jets are right about the 6-3, 264-pound Zuniga, the grade for this pick is going to look a lot better in a few years. But until then, they'll have to cross their fingers.
Zuniga is, at best, an unknown, and at worst, a bit of a project. He's known for showing flashes of brilliance at times and disappearing at other times. Scouts love his size, his 4.6 speed, and his athletic ability. But they wonder why he didn't have more production on the field.
He started to show promise as a junior for the Gators, when he had 6.5 sacks. He then returned to school as a senior to prove himself and boost his draft stock. But thanks to a high ankle sprain, he was limited to just three sacks in six games. That didn't help him answer any of the questions.
The Jets, though, obviously thought he was worth the risk in the middle of the third round. They obviously need help at edge rusher, and they've got time to let Zuniga develop since they brought back Jordan Jenkins for one year.
Maybe they'll be right and this will work out and he'll be their edge rusher of the future. But for now, he's a bit of a mystery, and they can only hope they're right.
