Gleyber Torres' dominance over the Orioles has been on full display during their current four-game series in the Bronx. During the doubleheader on Monday, three homers left the yard to bring him to 13 on the season against Baltimore.

But it was on Wednesday afternoon that the young infielder tied a long-time Yankee record.

After roping a double, Torres became the first Yankee to record 17 extra-base hits against a single opponent since legend Mickey Mantle did it in 1957 against the White Sox. He had 18 extra-base hits that season.

Torres has absolutely owned the Orioles so far this season. Entering today's matinee, he had a .403/.479/1.081 slash line with 13 homers, three doubles and 20 RBI over 17 games. Those are his best numbers by far against an opponent he's played in the division this season.

Overall this season, Torres is hitting .283/.349/.521 with 26 homers and 69 RBI, and he can certainly thank the Orioles for helping pad those numbers. Luckily for Baltimore, this is the last time both teams will see each other this season.
