The Yankees look to take full control of the AL East with a win over the Tampa Bay Rays on Saturday at Tropicana Field with the first pitch scheduled for 6:10 p.m.

Yankees notes

Gleyber Torres is in the Yankees' lineup batting fifth after he was hit in the right elbow in the eighth inning on Friday. He stayed in the game but there was some concern if he would need to sit out on Saturday. X-rays came back negative and he was just a little swollen but said he "felt good." ... Gio Urshela is batting eighth and playing third base as he continues to come up with big hits for the Yankees. Urshela is hitting .300/.318/.450 with a home run and nine RBI in high leverage situations this year and is 5-for-10 with five RBI with two outs and runners in scoring position.
