The Giants wasted no time deciding on the fates of GM Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll following a brutal 2024 season where New York finished 3-14.
Both Schoen and Daboll will be returning for the 2025 campaign, team president John Mara announced early Monday morning.
"Now that our season is over, we felt it necessary to make this statement," Mara wrote.
"Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll will continue in their respective roles with the organization. As disappointing as the results of the season have been, Steve (Tisch) and I remain confident in the process that Joe and Brian have implemented and their vision for our team.
"We look forward to the future and achieving the results we all desire."
Hired by the Giants in January of 2022 after spending five years as the Bills' assistant GM, Schoen’s first major move was hiring Daboll as head coach. And the pair helped the Giants find immediate success, turning the previous season’s 4-13 record into a 9-7-1 mark as the Giants made the playoffs for the first time since 2016.
But things went downhill from there, and a 6-11 season in 2023 was followed by this season's 3-14 mark. Overall, the Giants have a regular season record of 18-31-1 with Schoen and Daboll at the helm.
