The Giants placed Logan Ryan on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Saturday morning. They later officially announced that he has been ruled out for Monday night's matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Ryan missed Friday's practice after testing positive for COVID-19, head coach Joe Judge announced that day.

Ryan is vaccinated, but the Giants don't believe this is a false positive, as was the case with Saquon Barkley

As a vaccinated player, Ryan would need to be asymptomatic for 48 hours and test negative twice in 24 hours to be eligible to play.

Lorenzo Carter also missed practice with what the team called a "stomach bug" and has since been ruled out.
