The Giants announced their latest injury report Friday and it seems Saquon Barkley will be good to go for Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Barkley, who suffered an ankle injury following the Giant’s 37-21 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, returned to practice earlier this week and was limited in Friday’s walkthroughs but was not given an injury designation, which is a positive sign.

For those players who did receive designations, Leonard Williams (triceps), Sterling Shepard (calf) and Austin Johnson (foot) were all listed as questionable. Shepard’s injury is a new one so that’s a bit concerning for the Giants after only being targeted four times on Sunday.

Daniel Jones is predictably out with his neck injury while guard Ben Bredeson (ankle) is listed as doubtful.

With a lot of practice and meetings being virtual this week due to the spike in COVID cases among the Giants and across the NFL, there were quite a few players who were limited in practice including the aforementioned Barkley, Shepard and Williams. This list includes Kyle Rudolph (ankle), Steven Parker (illness), Reggie Ragland (illness), Danny Shelton (calf), Andrew Thomas (ankle) and Jarren Williams (illness).

The Giants placed two more players on the reserve/COVID list on Friday, bringing the number of total players in the protocol to nine. Coach Joe Judge also revealed that there are a number of players who are dealing with flu-like symptoms but were not COVID related.

The Giants host the Cowboys on Sunday at 1 p.m.
