The Giants will be without LB Olivier Vernon (ankle), CB Eli Apple (groin), WR Cody Latimer (knee), RB Jonathan Stewart (foot), and TE Evan Engram (knee) on Sunday against the Saints.
"I'm really close, but just going to keep prepping and get ready for next week," Apple said.
CB Antonio Hamilton (groin) and WR Stacy Coley (hamstring) are questionable.
Vernon, who has not played yet this season, practiced on a limited basis for a second straight day on Thursday and is getting closer to a return but isn't there yet, head coach Pat Shurmur said Friday.
DL Damon Harrison (knee) missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday, and was a limited participant on Friday (and is not listed on the injury report).
Harrison missed part of the second half of Week 3's win over the Texans, but seemed to indicate Tuesday that he had received encouraging injury news.
