A week after the Giants' first injury report of the 2019 season was highlighted by an offensive lineman, it is once again in Kevin Zeitler, along with wide receiver Sterling Shepard.

Zeitler sustained a shoulder injury in the Giants' season opener, a 35-17 loss to the Cowboys. As the Giants turn their attention to their Week 2 opponent, the Buffalo Bills, Zeitler was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday, according to the team's injury report.

But all signs are pointing to the positive in regard to the 29-year-old lineman's health. Giants head coach Pat Shurmur told reporters he believes Zeitler "will be fine." In addition, Zeitler himself said there's "no doubt" he'll play against the Bills.

Last week, Mike Remmers, who also plays on the right side of the Giants offensive line, was a limited participant, listed as "illness/ back" on the team's official injury report. Remmers did go on to play in the opener.

Bad news came in the form of four other players for the Giants. Tight end Garrett Dickerson (quad), linebacker Kareem Martin (knee) and wideouts Darius Slayton (hamstring) and Shepard (concussion) all did not practice. In wake of Shepard's injury, the Giants re-signed receiver TJ Jones on Wednesday.

Along with Zeitler, linebacker Markus Golden (hip) and rookie defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence (shoulder) were also limited participants.

For the Bills, starting slot cornerback Taron Johnson (hamstring) missed practice on Wednesday and was considered "day to day" by Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott. Tight end Tyler Kroft (ankle) was limited and returner Andre Roberts (quad) did not practice for the Bills per the team's injury report, both missed the team's season-opening win over the Jets last week.

Defensive tackle Jordan Phillips was missed practice due to illness.
