Late in the fourth quarter, and down 35-17 to the Cowboys, Giants head coach Pat Shurmur decided it was time for a change.

Rookie quarterback Daniel Jones made his debut, unexpectedly, after Eli Manning's day was done.

Jones completed three passes for 17 yards, with a long of six yards. The No. 6 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft ran five yards for a first down, but fumbled and the Cowboys recovered.

Manning was 30-for-44 for 306 yards and a touchdown before Jones entered the game.
