The Giants claimed former Rams guard Jamon Brown off waivers on Wednesday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
It's no secret Big Blue is in dire need of some help on offensive line, and the Giants hope Brown can give Eli Manning something of a breather.
Brown, who was drafted in the third round (72nd overall) by the Rams in 2015, was released on Tuesday to make room for new L.A. acquisiton Dante Fowler.
The 25-year-old Brown has played in five games this season after serving a two-game suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.
