The Giants and punter Riley Dixon have agreed to a three-year contract extension, per ESPN's Jordan Raanan.
Dixon, 26, is averaging a career-best 47.0 yards per punt, which ranks sixth in the NFL this season.
He is in his second season with the Giants after being acquired in a trade with the Denver Broncos on April 20, 2018.
Dixon was drafted by the Broncos in the seventh round of the 2016 NFL Draft after playing his college ball at Syracuse University. He was named to the 2016 All-Rookie team after setting the NFL rookie record for single-season net punting average -- 41.3 yards on 89 kicks.
He also set a Giants franchise record with a 41.8 yard net average on 71 punts in 2018.
