The Giants enter the 2025 NFL Draft with the third overall pick.

After a 3-14 season, how will New York use its first-round selection?

Here's what the experts have the Giants doing...

Tom Fornelli, CBS Sports

WR Tetairoa McMillan, Arizona

Pairing McMillan with Malik Nabers will give the Giants one of the most dynamic pair of receivers in the league. That will come in handy for a team that seems far more interested in pushing for a playoff spot in 2025 than finding a long-term answer at QB based on their offseason maneuvers.

QB Shedeur Sanders, Colorado

The Giants appear determined to field a deep quarterback room after enduring mediocre play at the position over the past few seasons. Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston are nice additions who should ensure a strong veteran presence that could help Sanders settle in as the team's future QB1.

Luke Easterling, Athlon Sports

CB/WR Travis Hunter, Colorado

With both of the top quarterbacks off the board, the Giants pivot to the truly elite prospects in this class, regardless of position. Abdul Carter will merit consideration, but it wouldn't be a shock if the Giants opted for Hunter, who would fill an immediate need on either side of the ball and make a massive impact no matter where he lines up.

The New York Giants are no longer pressed for an immediate solution at QB, as they signed Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston as their quarterbacks for next season. Because of those two, there’s far less temptation to take Sanders or Jaxson Dart here, allowing them to select the best available player. In this case, it is two-way superstar Travis Hunter.

The Giants’ additions of Jameis Winston and Russell Wilson won’t preclude them from drafting a quarterback, but Wilson was convinced he was the starter in his introductory press conference.

Quarterback desperation might win out in the end, but I would have a hard time taking Shedeur Sanders over a blue-chip player like Travis Hunter.

We’ve never seen a prospect like Hunter – he’s the best receiver and cornerback in this class, and he’d most likely win the Giants more games next year than anyone else who’s available. Pairing his skill set with Malik Nabers would give New York one of the most dynamic receiver duos in the NFL.

He could also replace Deonte Banks if he continues to struggle.

Brent Sobleski, Bleacher Report

CB/WR Travis Hunter, Colorado

The New York Giants made their decision at quarterback by bringing in two veterans with extensive starting experience in Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston.

Wilson already stated he expects to start. Once again, Colorado's Shedeur Sanders could and should be in play here. But the team seems to be going in another direction.

To be fair, the Giants could do much worse than drafting the class' top-ranked prospect in Colorado's cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter.
