The Knicks have reshaped their roster over the last year and change, saying goodbye to some familiar faces (some beloved, some not) in the process. We'll take a look at how some of those former Knicks are performing with their new teams as the 2019-20 NBA season is underway...
Kristaps Porzingis, Dallas Mavericks
All eyes were on The Garden on Thursday, when Porzingis made his much-anticipated return to New York after requesting a trade from the Knicks in January. He was booed throughout the game, but finished with a double-double, scoring 20 points and grabbing 11 rebounds.
Porzingis is averaging 18.5 points per game along with 8.2 rebounds and 2.5 blocks in his first season with the Mavericks.
Tim Hardaway Jr., Dallas Mavericks
After a strong start to the season for Hardaway, the 27-year-old hit a bump in the road this week. He shot 2-for-11 last Saturday against the Raptors before playing a season-low 14 minutes against the Spurs on Monday. He recovered on Wednesday, tying his season-high with 20 points before turning in a 16-point performance against the Cavaliers on Friday.
Courtney Lee, Dallas Mavericks
Lee has played in just five of the Mavericks' 15 games this season, but recorded a season-high 12 points in the team's 48-point drubbing of the Warriors on Wednesday.
Danilo Gallinari, Oklahoma City Thunder
The 31-year-old Gallinari has started all 15 games for the Thunder this year and is proving to be a reliable scorer. Averaging 18.8 points per game, the sixth pick in the 2008 Draft has slotted in nicely in his first season in Oklahoma City. Gallinari is getting a lot of his points at the line, where he's shooting nearly 93 percent.
Emmanuel Mudiay, Utah Jazz
Playing with the second unit for the Jazz, Mudiay has had an up-and-down start to the season. He scored in double figures in each of Utah's first three games, but also had a spell of three straight games in which he was inactive. He scored just two points on 1-for-7 shooting against the Timberwolves on Wednesday, but bounced back with an 11-point effort on Friday against the Warriors. He's averaging 8.7 points and 2.3 assists in 12 games played this season.
DeAndre Jordan, Brooklyn Nets
While Jordan's days of dominating the paint for extending periods of time are behind him, he's always been efficient on both ends when he's on the floor. He's averaging 21.6 minutes per game and his FG percentage is predictably high, at 66.7 percent. A prolific rebounder, Jordan surprisingly went three games without cracking double-digits in boards, but collected 10 rebounds for the Nets on Friday. He's averaging 7.6 and 9.4 rebounds this season.
Mario Hezonja, Portland Trail Blazers
Hezonja struggled to find minutes for Portland this week and has had his three lowest minutes totals of the season in his last three games. He played just 10 minutes on Thursday and did not have his best performance. He failed to record a point, did not even attempt a shot and committed four fouls. He's averaging 5.2 points and 5.1 rebounds in 15 games this season.
Kyle O'Quinn, Philadelphia 76ers
In the 76ers' last four games, O'Quinn has played in just two of them, and averaged just five minutes in the two games he did play. The Queens native is averaging 3.4 points and 3.3 rebounds for Philadelphia this season.
Noah Vonleh, Minnesota Timberwolves
Vonleh is averaging 13 minutes a game off the bench for Minnesota this season, but hasn't seen the floor in the team's last two games. He's averaging 4.4 points and 3.8 rebounds in 13 games.
