The NBA season isn't even halfway done, but speculation about the impending 2019 free agent class is already buzzing, especially around Warriors F Kevin Durant.

Durant is expected to be one of many free agents on the Knicks' radar next summer, but they won't be alone. In the end, though, former Knicks head coach Derek Fisher told Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe on FS1's UNDISPUTED that he believes Durant will ultimately choose The Garden.

"I would say New York," Fisher said.

Durant, who will likely be joined by the likes of Kawhi Leonard, Klay Thompson, and Kyrie Irving to name a few in the offseason, has been through the free agency process once before. Fisher points that out during his explanation, saying it will make this interviewing process much easier, and the decision could come easier as well.

The 30-year-old was highly criticized for signing with the Warriors back in 2016, as he joined an already-star studded lineup that had Thompson, Steph Curry, and Draymond Green on it.

One of the premier NBA talents, Durant landing in New York would rejuvenate the Knicks. He would combine with a hopefully healthy Kristaps Porzingis, a high 2019 draft pick, and potentially another top free agent. New York also has players like Kevin Knox, Mitchell Robinson, and Tim Hardaway Jr. as well.

Durant is currently averaging 28.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 6.2 assists over 31 games with Golden State so far this season.
