The Portland Trail Blazers learned in their four-overtime game Friday night just what former Knicks C Enes Kanter is all about.
Kanter not only played 56 minutes on the floor, a new career-high, but he did so with a separated left shoulder as well.
"First overtime, I think I separated my shoulder more," he told reporters after the game. "I had to tuck my arm into my jersey because I couldn't carry my arm. I'm glad we got a win, man. Whatever it takes. You've got to sacrifice everything. I'm proud of my teammates."

The Knicks may not have won a lot during Kanter's time in New York, but he always wanted to impact his team in any way possible. Kanter had suffered the injury in the last series against the Thunder, but with the heightened intensity of the playoffs, he didn't want to let his teammates down.
In fact, Blazers star PG Damian Lillard kept going to Kanter to push him as the longest playoff game since 1953 kept going on.
"Dame came up to me and said, 'Hey, one more overtime.' He said this three times. 'One more overtime. Come on, let's play hard.' I didn't want to quit on my teammate."
Kanter would produced 18 points and 15 rebounds for a double-double in the 140-137 victory in Portland's home Moda Center. But it's unknown right now whether or not he'll be healthy enough to play in Game 4.
In typical Kanter fashion, though, he said he's going to "get some painkillers for the next game."
