Darrelle Revis was watching the NFC Championship game on Sunday, and though the 49ers are headed to the Super Bowl, the former Jet DB was unimpressed with what he saw from their star cornerback, Richard Sherman

The sole inhabitant of "Revis Island" criticized Sherman for sitting in zone coverage, rather than travel with Packers wide receiver Davante Adams.

Adams had nine catches for 138 yards, but the 49ers were up 27-0 at halftime and went on to win 37-20 to advance to Super Bowl LIV. Sherman also had an interception in the victory.

The Stanford product was quick to catch wind of Revis' tweet, and fired back with a missive of his own.

The two have continued their back-and-forth Sunday night, with Revis clinging to the belief that elite corners must travel with elite receivers all game long.

Sherman, meanwhile, countered with a photo of Revis getting burned in one-on-one coverage.

The Super Bowl is 13 days away. With both former Pro Bowlers quiet on the matter on Monday, hopefully the latest serving of Twitter beef is just about finished.
