As the Giants closed out their win over the Redskins on Sunday, it didn't go quietly between the division rivals.

There was a scuffle after the contest, and it involved former Giants S Landon Collins and the man that took his place in S Jabrill Peppers.

According to NJ.com, Collins was talking toward the Giants bench when Peppers stepped up to get in his face. They began jawing back and forth with players from both teams stepping in to try to break it up. As they separated, Peppers supposed yelled out, "We're gonna see y'all again! And I want all of that!"

Heading into this game, a big storyline was how Collins was going to react to playing his former team that let him walk in free agency. Though he said there would be a lot of aggression when they met, he said after the game that his emotions were in check. But he wouldn't comment about when they boiled over after losing 24-3.

"Next question," he replied when a reporter asked about happened with the altercation.

Peppers, who had a much better game than Collins with a pick-six mixed into his performance, didn't talk about what caused the incident to happen. However, he did show love toward Collins when asked about it.

"It's a division game, it's definitely more personal, but that's just football," he said. "I have the utmost respect for those guys, especially Landon, it's all love. When you are playing football, you have to tap into another dimension so you can be the player your team needs you to be. I just didn't turn it off quick enough and I don't think he did, either. Nothing serious, it's all love."

There weren't any punches or pushes in the scrum, but the frustration was certainly there for Collins. I mean, it must be hard to not just lose, but see the player that took your place -- wearing your old number nonetheless -- making big plays the way Peppers did. His pick-six in the third quarter came right after the Redskins forced a fumble with the Giants on the goal line, and made it a three-score game.

"That was the first one of my career, I tried to do the wall hop but I was little tired, I couldn't quite make it," Peppers explained. "It was great that we could make a big play like that on defense. Help the offense, spread the margin out a little bit, and we kept playing phenomenal defense after that."

The Giants' defense as a whole was much better than they have been these past three weeks, allowing just three points after letting up 94 total points in the previous games. Peppers was a main factor in that performance, and it couldn't have been a better time to do so than with Collins in the building.

It will be a while before these two teams get to face each other again, with Week 16 in Washington the next meeting. But the table has been set with Collins and Peppers already exchanging some words. And if we can tell anything from Peppers' "I want all of that!" comment, Collins is probably going to be looking for some revenge come December.
