Ja Morant has been considered a potential top-three pick in this year's draft and many project him going as high as the No. 2 pick overall, with Duke phenom Zion Williamson regarded as the undisputed No. 1 pick.

Well, undisputed to everyone except Morant's father.

Following Morant's 17-point, 16-assist, 11-rebound triple-double performance in Murray State's 83-64 upset win over Marquette on Thursday, Morant's father, Tee, was asked by Bleacher Report when his son should be taken in the NBA Draft.

"Is there anything before one?" Tee asked. "Yeah, zero. Let him go zero."

Ja's performance was certainly unique and raised his profile. It was the first triple-double in the NCAA Tournament since Draymond Green did it with Michigan State in 2012.

"What he did out here proves that he's the best player in the country," Tee added.

The Knicks could eventually have the final say in whether or not Ja Morant is the best player in the country.

They currently have the worst record in the NBA and share a 14 percent chance with the Phoenix Suns and Cleveland Cavaliers to earn the No. 1 overall pick.

While the thought of Williamson coming to Madison Square Garden has fans salivating, Ja Morant would not be such a bad contingency plan.

A few more games and a Cinderella run in the NCAA Tournament and just maybe it could be up for debate.
