The results following the fan vote for the 2020 Pro Bowl have been released, and a Jet has made the cut.

Safety Jamal Adams is in good position to continue living up to his promise, as he got the most votes for a strong safety in the AFC with 186,068. Steelers S Minkah Fitzpatrick received more votes at free safety for the AFC at 209,245.

After not making the Pro Bowl in his rookie season, Adams made a vow that he wouldn't miss another one for the rest of his career. He lived up to the promise last season with his first nod, and could do the exact same this year if the other two legs of voting work in his favor.

The fan vote is just one third of the voting process. Players and coaches make up the other two, and will determine who really gets to go to Orlando for the game.

It's unknown whether or not Adams would be able to play in the first place, given his ankle injury that has kept him out the past two weeks. The game, though, is on Jan. 26, so there would certainly be time for Adams to recover if he is to participate.

This season has been Adams' best yet with 64 combined tackles, 6.5 sacks, one interception that was returned for a touchdown, two forced fumbles with one returned for a touchdown and six passes defended. Through the many Jets defensive injuries this season, Adams served as a consistent rock for this unit before he suffered his own injury.

Other than Adams, some notables coming out of the fan vote is Ravens QB Lamar Jackson getting the most votes at 704,699 to be the AFC's quarterback. Seahawks QB Russell Wilson came in second with 539,768. Also, both Joey Bosa and Nick Bosa received the most votes for defensive ends in their respective conferences.

Adams is the only New York based player to make the list.
