The 2020 NFL Draft is drawing closer every day. With the Giants and Jets both currently set to pick in the first 11 selections, we'll be taking an in-depth look at some of the prospects who could soon call New York home.
Here's a look at Oklahoma WR CeeDee Lamb ...
By The Numbers
Height: 6-foot-2
Weight: 198 pounds
40-yard dash: 4.50
Vertical jump: 34.5 inches
2019 stats: 62 catches, 1,327 yards, 14 TD, first-team All-Big 12
Prospect Overview (from NFL.com)
Explosive, three-level playmaker and vital cog in one of the most potent offensive machines in college football over the last three seasons. Lamb uses speed and separation quickness to dominate competition in a scheme that frequently created open throws in space. His routes will need to become more efficient and crisp to beat man-to-man coverage against NFL size and speed, but his ball skills and explosiveness with the ball in his hand should allow teams to scheme him into explosive opportunities right away. Lamb has the potential to play any of the three receiver positions as a pro and should benefit greatly from the NFL's continued movement toward college-style passing attacks.
Rumor Mill
In CBS Sports' Ryan Wilson's mock last week, he had the Jets going for wide receiver help, taking Lamb over Jerry Jeudy.
Wilson argued that the Jets adding offensive line help via free agency "frees them up to get Sam Darnold some weapons and CeeDee Lamb is the best WR in this draft class."
NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah also has mocked Lamb to the Jets, saying "The Jets need to continue to upgrade the O-line, but they must weigh taking the fourth-best OT versus the top wideout. Sam Darnold needs some dynamic players around him."
NFL Comp (according to NFL.com's Lance Zierlein)

This and That
Lamb was born in Louisiana and grew up in New Orleans until his family was forced to evacuate due to Hurricane Katrina. Lamb attended John and Randolph Foster High School in Richmond, Texas. His given first name is Cedarian.
Social Moment
Check out this ridiculous 180 catch by Lamb, as he goes way up to make the grab, spins in mid-air, and still gets both feet in bounds:
