The NBA trade deadline isn't until Feb. 6, but rumors are already starting to surface about who could be moved on the Knicks this season, including Marcus Morris.

The 30-year-old has been one positive among many negatives this season, averaging 18.7 points 5.8 boards and 1.4 assists per game. He's also shooting a ridiculous 47 percent from beyond the arc. Sitting at 6-21 on the year, the Knicks could very well get a few calls about the veteran forward from a contending team.

During his trade special with Zach Lowe, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski suggests the Clippers would be "certainly plausible" as a team that would go after Morris.

"[The Clippers] thought they had Marcus Morris in July," Wojnarowski said. "That's a player they had great interest with, that they saw who would fit with Paul George and with Kawhi Leonard. So, to see them revisit that is certainly plausible."

SNY's Ian Begley spoke to a few team executives about what it would take to land Morris in a trade, and they believed a first-round pick would be in order depending on certain factors. They include whether or not a team belives Morris is the missing piece to a potential championship roster or if the team does not see the back end of the NBA Draft being too deep.

Either way, the Knicks could get a solid draft pick if the right team came calling.

"Teams love his leadership and he's been shooting incredibly well," a representative for one Eastern Conference team told Begley. "You can easily see them getting a late first-round pick for him if that team feels Marcus pushes them over the top."

Morris signed a one-year, $15 million deal with the Knicks for this season.
