Manager Aaron Boone and the Yankees are working through all the options they can have for their 25-man roster leading up to the ALCS.

Meanwhile, the same can be said for Mike Shildt's Cardinals and Davey Martinez's Washington Nationals.

But when exactly do they need to decide who will be on their roster?

The official deadline for all the Championship Series teams to get their 25-man rosters in is actually the day of the games. Boone needs to have his Yankees roster in by 10 a.m., EST on Saturday, while the NL teams must have their 25-man lineups submitted by 10 a.m. on Friday morning, the day of their first game.

First pitch of the ALCS is set for Saturday at 8:08 p.m.

Both the Cardinals and Nationals played five-game series in the NLDS. The Cardinals used a historic 10-run first inning to defeat the Braves and advance, while the Nationals rode a Howie Kendrick extra-inning grand slam to upset the Dodgers on the road.

The two teams will begin the NLCS in St. Louis at 8:08 on Friday.
