Another Giants loss saw another up and down performance by rookie QB Daniel Jones. And his performance wasn't enough to match up with one of the best in the game in Packers QB Aaron Rodgers

But the established veteran had some nice words to say to the young gunslinger after the game.

Meeting when the final whistle blew and the score read 31-13 in a Packers win, Rodgers found Jones on the field to tell him this:

"Hang in there brother. Long career, right?" Rodgers told Jones. "Learn from these days and the good ones too."

And that wasn't the only words of wisdom Rodgers dished to the Giants. He also swapped jerseys with Saquon Barkley, and The Daily News' Pat Leonard caught a sliver of his message that read "you have greatness in your future."

Rodgers had himself a stellar game with four touchdown passes on 243 yards through the air. Jones, on the other hand, threw three interceptions to one touchdown that came early in the game to Sterling Shepard. he went 20-for-37 for 240 yards.

What Rodgers had to say was exactly right. Jones does have a long career ahead of him, and things are obviously not going to be perfect from the start. He has certainly had his fair share of beautiful passes and moments, which have been almost even with his hiccups, too.

Rodgers has been through it, and look how he turned out. Not comparing the two quarterbacks, but the Giants will hope Jones could follow in those footsteps down the road.
