Jets first-round pick Quinnen Williams arrived in Florham Park on Friday and the defensive tackle was all smiles as he was about to embark on his NFL career.

The 6-foot-2, 302-pound Williams felt like a little kid getting to meet his new Jets teammates and offered some colorful quotes at Jets rookie orientation on Friday.

Here are some of the highlights from his first press conference:

On working out with Leonard Williams before the draft:

"First of all, I was like damn, that's Leonard Williams. He's a beast. He's from USC. … I was just being a little fan, we worked out together. Stuff like that. We just talked about football in general, how his rookie year was, just grew a bond through football. At the time I didn't know I'd be playing with him. But I was like a little fan at first."

On meeting the rest of his teammates:

"Like seven months ago, I didn't know I was going to start [at Alabama]. So to be in this position right now and I'm like, bro, that's crazy. So when I get to meet people, I'm like that's dope. I met Le'Veon Bell yesterday and I was like, whoa, that's Le'Veon Bell, the No. 1 running back in the NFL. It's like crazy. I know I'm one of those people too, but I don't look at it like that. I met Sam Darnold, that's crazy. Jamal Adams, I'm like, I got Jamal Adams on my ultimate team, it's crazy."

On where he's most comfortable playing:

"Wherever they put me I'm going to play. I'm going to try and go out there and dominate. If they put me in kickoff return I'm gonna go crazy. They can put me in anything I'm going to try and dominate it."

On what it would be like to sack Tom Brady:

"It's crazy, because Tom Brady started playing in the NFL since before I was born. If I get to sack him it'll be amazing. If I get to sack any quarterback it will be amazing. Just being in the NFL is amazing. Just to get a tackle, tackle for loss … getting a sack will be like icing on the cake."

On staying humble:

Very important for me, man. I was a five-star athlete going into Alabama. Going into Alabama taught me a lot -- huge, humbling experience. Because going to Alabama you're not the only five-star. It's like coming here, I'm not the only first-rounder. You got free agents who play like first rounders. You have to learn the standards, learn the process. Same way I learned at Alabama you're going to have to learn up here and try to be a great player."
