Islanders forward Zach Parise and defenseman Noah Dobson are looking forward to playing the team's first game since New Year's Day. Despite the ups and downs, Parise characterized his first season with the team so far as a "fun experience", though he hopes to contribute more on the offensive side. Dobson meanwhile has bolstered the Islanders power play and credits veteran defense partner Zdeno Chara with helping his overall game. He described head coach Barry Trotz as the team's leader and is happy he's back with the team.
