Yankees Clarke Schmidt on grinding through five innings in loss, Mariners relaying signs from second base

Calling it "a part of the game", Yankees starter Clarke Schmidt was pretty blunt in his assessment that Mariners baserunners were relaying signs from second base to the batter but added it's "up to us to make the adjustments", after their 6-3 loss to Seattle. While his elevated pitch count made for a shorter start, Schmidt was pleased with being able to still keep his team in the game.
