In this Giants news conference, running back Saquon Barkley commented on Tommy DeVito being named the starting quarterback saying, "you're an undrafted kid from New Jersey living the dream. Go out there, have fun, you've got everyone's support." On a personal level, Barkley would love to reach 1,000 yards on the season, which would make him the third all-time leading rusher in Giants history. Saquon called his nomination as the Giants' NFL Man of the Year nominee, "awesome" adding, "it's truly an honor and a good thing."
