He talked about continuing to add on and admitted the team's familiarity with Cortes' pitching played a big part in their success. Bellinger said "it was super unique" to be a part of but was also in awe of Judge's monster day. The Yankees' captain tried to downplay his performance but agreed the atmosphere was "electric."

Holding it all together though was Paige Bueckers and her dedication to the UConn program. "She deserves to go out a national champion."
