He also discussed Jorge Polanco's misplay at first base adding, he was glad it happened in spring training and is a good teaching moment.

Marcus Semien ripped a three-run double and youngster Aaron Salgado had a triple, single and RBI in the Mets 7-5 loss to Houston. Pitching prospect Jonah Tong endured some tough luck but still managed to strike out five batters in 4.1 innings.
