In this Devils post game news conference, captain Nico Hischier, who scored a critical shorthanded goal that gave the Devils a 3-2 lead in their 4-2 victory, described it as "definitely a character win." Hischier played a career-high 23 minutes, successfully helping kill off seven of eight Penguins power plays in addition to his shorthanded tally. "If I'm ready, I just want to go out there and help the team win in any situation."
