After losing their home opener on Sunday, the Nets bounced back with a strong effort on Monday and defeated the Washington Wizards, 104-90. Kevin Durant led all scorers with 25 points but Patty Mills also made a key contribution off the bench, scoring 21 points and playing stellar defense. Mills credited teammates Bruce Brown and Nic Claxton for setting the tone defensively and also talked about getting more comfortable with his new team. Mills: 'It's all new territory for me...figuring it all out...but that's the exciting part of it'.
