Despondent veteran Yankees lefty Nestor Cortes Jr. admitted "this was a tough one," after surrendering a walk-off grand slam HR to Freddie Freeman in Game 1 of the World Series. He felt confident coming in but left one in Freeman's wheelhouse. First baseman Anthony Rizzo took a positive approach saying, "We fell on the short side. there will be no sour heads coming in tomorrow...we can tie up the series 1-1 and head home with a split."
