In this Jets news conference, Mike White expressed disappointment at not being able to start in his home state when the Jets travel to Miami to close out the season on Sunday. The broken ribs he sustained in Buffalo last month continue to prevent him from "doing what I want to be able to do out there." Despite the Jets' struggles on offense, he defended embattled offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur, saying "I might be biased, but Lafleur has done wonders for my career." White is now due to to become a free agent but said "I love it here ... I would love to be back."
